Old House

Hi Everybody,

I am trying to upload more often, so here is a shoot I did

last week…which is very fast for me let me tell you…

I had a chance to shoot in an empty house and will be

shooting there again with my friend Doreen, but I wanted a trail run

so I asked Diane who as you know is an Actor and model and

my friends son David would they do the shoot with me…and they said Yes

So here is what I came away with….

I have worked my images in PS and I used a lot of my Nik filters

which is a plugin you can get for PS…I love them and the way they allow me to work my images…..

anyway enough of my ramblings….

“Lanterns by My light”

Hi All, I hope this finds ye well and safe,

so here it is ..my second post….

I was in Grafton St Dublin with my friend Doreen

and her two great kids..images which I will post later in the

month when I have done some work on them….so back to what you’re looking at now.

There is a couple of flower sellers on the Street, and they were selling these beauties.

I think they are called Chinese Lanterns …please correct me if you know..

I brought them home and as some of you know I will spend time shooting for myself

as much as I will for my profession, and this is the fruits of my labour…

They are all shot in the studio with the flash heads but I only used the modelling lamp

and then processed them in Photoshop and used a collection of textures on them…

The last 3 images were shot on my kitchen table with sunlight coming in from my front door.

Some of the textures are my own and the others are from Kim Klassen, but most are from

Jerry Jones, of SkeletaMess and ShadowHouse Creations these people give us a lot of free textures

that help us bring our work to a whole other level…I thank them both and all the other people who give us

some great free textures o work with….

So before I bore you all to tears with any more words….here are my images…Hope you like them..

This is what I do……

Hi

OK…. well ..mmm….So how do I start My Blog and with what?…..

I now have a lovely new  blog..so what do I do with it?  What do I post?

Questions Questions..aghhhh..so what I decided was

well, something I love to see myself…. Before and After sort of thing….you know….

what images looked like out of camera and then what people do to them to create their Art

So I put some of my  images together…so you could see what I shot and had in camera

and then what I ended with after playing around with the images  in my favourite software..

Yep….. you guessed  it…Photoshop…..and with a lot of help from the textures I picked

up on Flickr ( my stream) and some I made myself…..

So I hope you enjoy what you see…..love to hear what you think…..and see you here again soon…….
